Corporate Social Responsibility: Team RC visits Bahay Tuluyan

As part of our initiative to give back to the community, Axiem schedules visits to the Bahay Tuluyan shelter to bring them joy through games and fun activities.

For the month of June, it’s Rachelle Cuenco (TL RC) and her team who went south to bond with the kids at Bahay Tuluyan.

Their visit started with an opening prayer followed by the National Anthem and the opening remarks by TL RC. They were joined by 30 kids together with their house mothers at Bahay Tuluyan.

The Axiem volunteers prepared a series of parlor games for the kids. A birthday themed visit which was full of loot bags, party hats and a birthday cake was prepared. Team RC prepared different parlor games like ‘Trip to Jerusalem’, followed by the introduction of the team members and the kids as well.

Before the program concluded, the loot bags filled with sweets and biscuits were distributed to the kids; and the kids toured their visitors to their livelihood and homes. You can feel their security and happiness because they have a place they can call home.

Every time we visit Bahay Tuluyan, we feel that we have rediscovered our purpose in life. That is to bring change in the lives of others as our Bosses changed our lives. We look forward for the next team and their visit to Bahay Tuluyan.
