AXIEM SPORTS FEST 2016 (Saturday) Opening Ceremony

It’s the day we’ve all been waiting for! April 16, 2016 – our opening ceremony for OBP – Axiem Sports Fest 2016 with the theme Rivals for a Day, Mates for Life!

The whole organization was divided into 4 teams, Red, Green, Yellow and Orange. All of the teams prepared and trained for the coming of this day.

We started the registration at 6:30 in the morning. After everyone has registered, we started the program with different chants of respective Teams. The venue was filled with cheers rooting for each team.

Our very own Operations Manager, Ms. My led the prayer followed by our Managing Director Maryann Farrugia led the opening remarks, and Operations Director Peter DeAngelis.

We presented the shirts we’ve prepared for the Bahay Tuluyan kids and proceeded with the cheerdance with Orange Team to start, followed by Yellow, Green and Red Team.

After the cheering, Volleyball and Basketball took place. We also prepared some treats for them and the kids of our employees who joined us that day; we had Ice cream, hotdogs and candies prepared for the kids distributed through food stubs which was claimed during the Sports Fest.

Thank you for your participation, and let’s see who will rise as CHAMPIONS in our awarding ceremony on Saturday, April 23, 2016. Are you all excited?
